Cody got to help Nurse V- today and boy was he excited. He got to lift Rhys while the bedding got changed. And, with a little direction from the nurse he volunteered for his first diaper duty! Sorry for the glare, the lighting got in the way of the picture.

Boy, seeing those pictures really does my heart good. Something must be going okay for them to let Dad touch little one!

How cool is that! I'm so glad you guys got to handle him again! I want to tell you about the generosity of perfect strangers....a woman get her hair done overheard my hairdresser ask about Rhys and left a check for $100 to help out with medical expenses. She never spoke to me or looked at me but asked the hairdresser for you name and left a check not to be given to me until after she left. I'm just in awe of the number of people Rhys has touched in only 18 days.
I love ya'll

Congratulations Dad! You look like a natural. It's amazing when you see him in your hands, how small. Candice, his name definately fits.. He has a few a the same traits as his Paw Paw Logan... Very strong and doesn't give up! But I love his whole name, it's very unique. We love y'all and hope to see you soon.

How amazing. Your baby is beautiful. We all continue to pray for you. Ryan and I both cant wait to meet the little guy. In fact Ryan was just asking about you and said how he would never forget how you and Cody came to visit us in the hospital with Jaxson. Anyhow, our thoughts and prayers are with you and I look forward to meeting baby Rhys one day!

Hey, Cody! Congratulations again on inheriting the best job in the world! There's just nothing that can adequately describe that feeling of touching the little life that you helped create. And the bond that you form will last a lifetime. Welcome to the club!

Wow! What great pictures! I know that you were both so excited. Before you know it that baby will be home and getting all kinds of attention. His back won't hit a bed for a while then! :)
Oh Cody, such a staggeringly beautiful photo. To see your hands, big hands, holding your tiny little son. The adoration just pours out of your daddy hands and flows right into Rhys' growing body and soul.
In a very similar fashion, God holds you in His precious hands and smothers you in fatherly adoration.
I love you Cody and Candice. I really, really love you.
